Kate Ryan
Kate took up dance at the age of 11, starting with a casual hip hop class. After falling in love with the art and culture of being part of a dance team, she quickly took up competitive classes in the styles of ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap.
After competition and exam work until the late teens, Kate left her dance school to pursue studies at university. After a small break, Kate decided to audition for the Adelaide 36ers dance squad. The audition was successful and Kate continued to perform on the NBL court for three seasons between 2014 and 2017.
After meeting so many talented performers throughout these years, her passion was reignited and various opportunities came up in the years to follow. In 2017, Kate was invited to join an established cabaret show booked to tour Melbourne and New York.
The year following, Kate was asked to join a small team who would join a line up of artists, performing on a cruise ship for 1 week.
2019 saw Kate co-produce and perform in her first cabaret show, with the aim to develop and tour shows globally in future, whilst providing opportunities to local artists.
